PROF ÖNDER KALENDERER, MD
Orthopaedic and Traumatology Surgeon
Prof Önder Kalenderer graduated from Dokuz Eylul University in 1990 as a medical doctor and in 1996; he became an Orthopaedics and Traumatology specialist at Behçet Uz Children’s Hospital. His study was awarded by the prestigious Jacques Duparc at EFORT in 2018.
Prof Önder Kalenderer has been appointed as Professor in 2021. He has 93 published articles in the most esteemed journals with over 750 citations and 23 national and international editorial and book chapters.
He is a member of TOTBID (Turkish Orthopaedics and Traumatology Association), the Children’s Orthopaedics Association, EPOS (European Paediatric Orthopaedics Society), AAOS (American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons), EFORT (European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology) and APOA (Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association).
He is specialized in changing kids’ lives through treatments and surgeries for Children’s orthopaedic and traumatology disorders and diseases. He brings joy and relief to so many children and families through his profession.
