Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Deveci
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Deveci was born in 1978 in Batman, Turkey, and graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He completed his residency in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2008 and subsequently participated in the EFORT Traveling Fellowship Program in Austria. In 2010, he completed an Orthopaedic Oncology clinical fellowship at the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute in Bologna, Italy.
After serving at various institutions, he joined Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 2010, where he became Assistant Professor in 2011 and Associate Professor in 2017. Since 2019, he has been a faculty member at Koç University, focusing on arthroplasty, orthopaedic oncology, and trauma surgery.
Prof. Deveci is a member of numerous national and international associations, including TOTBID, TUSYAD, EMSOS, ISOLS, SICOT, and TOTEK, where he also holds a board certification. He currently chairs the AOTrauma Turkey and AO Trauma MID Research Committee.
He has published over 30 articles indexed in Web of Science, contributed to book chapters, and presented extensively at national and international congresses. He also serves as Associate Editor of Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica and reviews for international journals.
His main areas of expertise include orthopaedic oncology, bone tumors, complex trauma surgery, primary and revision knee arthroplasty, and sports traumatology.
