Dr. Hatice Aktan 

Dr. Hatice Aktan was born in 1965 in Mersin, Turkey, and graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1989.

Following graduation, she worked at the Tuberculosis Dispensary in Karacabey, Bursa, between 1989 and 1990. From 1990 to 1995, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.

Between 1995 and 1997, she established and worked at İzmir Çeşme Alper Çizgenakat Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic, where she was awarded a certificate of high achievement for her contributions. She later served at İzmir Konak Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital from 1997 to 1998 before resigning from public service to begin her career as a full-time freelance physician in 1998.

Dr. Aktan has attended numerous national and international advanced courses and congresses in Obstetrics and Gynecology, particularly in ultrasound, between 1995 and 2005, earning several certificates. She also broadened her academic background by completing a degree in Health Facilities Management at Anadolu University between 2001 and 2003, and later graduating from the Faculty of Photography and Videography at the same university between 2008 and 2012.

In 2016, she began specializing in Sex Therapy and Vaginismus, earning the title of Sex Therapist. In 2017, she pursued further training in Aesthetic Genital Surgery and received certification as an Aesthetic Genital Surgery Specialist, approved by the International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology (ISSAGS).

Since 1995, Dr. Aktan has been actively practicing at Kadomer Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic. She has two sons and speaks English.

She is a member of the Turkish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology (ISSAGS), the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (KADUD), and the Association for the Support of Contemporary Living (ÇYDD).
